Transcript Variant: This variant (2) includes an additional
in-frame exon in the central coding region, compared to variant 1,
resulting in an isoform (2) that is longer than isoform 1. It
should be noted that this variant may possibly undergo
nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD); this RefSeq is currently being
retained because this gene is considered to be protein-coding in
the literature, including PMID:15276201.
