Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a positive regulator
of the Wnt signaling pathway. The encoded protein is found
associated with gamma tubulin at the centrosome. Alternative
splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different

Transcript Variant: This variant (2) differs in the 5' UTR and 5'
coding region and lacks multiple 5' coding exons, compared to
variant 1. The encoded isoform (b, also known as s-DIXDC1) is
shorter and has a distinct N-terminus, compared to isoform a.
