COMMENT REVIEWED REFSEQ: This record has been curated by NCBI staff. The
reference sequence was derived from BI551353.1, AL136773.1 and
BC003161.1.
On Dec 18, 2003 this sequence version replaced gi:31543446.
Summary: The protein encoded by this gene was identified by its
interaction with the catalytic domain of protein kinase C-zeta. The
encoded protein contains an actin-binding site and an ATP-binding
site. It is most closely related to twinfilin (PTK9), a conserved
actin monomer-binding protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the
publications that are available for this gene. Please see the Gene
record to access additional publications.
